Eclipse 2K17

There was a lot of anticipation as the sky dimmed and that last little bit of sunlight faded during our eclipse viewing party on Monday, August 21, 2017. The anxiously awaited eclipse took about 90 minutes to go from coast to coast as it cast a shadow from state to state. It has been reported that this solar eclipse may likely be the most photographed event in history.

The next total eclipse

If this event has sparked your interest make plans now, the next total eclipse will happen in 2024. In 2024, a total solar eclipse will darken the skies above Mexico and Texas, up through the Midwest and northeastern U.S. For more information check out www.space.com.
