A ‘Spud-Tastic’ Start to 2019

Make it a ‘spud-tastic’ start to 2019 by attending one of the most exciting celebrations of the year — the 6th Annual New Year’s Eve Idaho® Potato Drop. You won’t want to miss that giant Idaho® Potato drop in front of the Idaho State Capitol in Boise at midnight December 31. The family-friendly event starts at 3:00pm MT and will end at 1:00am MT, giving you plenty of time to partake in tater-filled fun. This year’s festivities include the “Big-Air Rail Jam” snow park, “Tuber Luge” public tubing hill, and of course, the Big Idaho® Potato Truck will be making its annual appearance. This year VIP ticket holders will have their own lounge where they can sip on craft cocktails, munch on warm appetizers, and get their groove on to 80’s classics. This is one NYE spud-bash you won’t want to miss!

USASA-sanctioned Toyota Big Air Rail Jam, complete with the Gateway Tuber Luge (created by world-renown snow park designer and first-ever US snowboard champion Ryan Neptune). This unique setup utilizes high speed crank-pulleys down a sequentially lit runway, a big-air launch, transitions, rails, and a quarter pipe and is the first ever of it’s kind! The adjoined inner-tube (bobsled type) luge is also completely unique, open to the public and should draw plenty of participants and “Spec-Taters”.
