- There is a noticeable crease on the side of the front fascia
- Split upper grille with chrome accents that flow to the headlights
- Sharp creases along either side of the front fascia
- Sweeping bumper protrusion
- Body sides with metal sculpting
- Downward-sloping through the roofline
- Upward line along the window line and the lower doors

One of the biggest changes for 2013 is that there will no longer be an optional third row. If you can remember from years past, the tiny third row seat wasn’t the most accommodating. If the third row option is a must for you, then check out Toyota’s Highlander in the crossover category. As far as seating, there are two fabric options as well as a synthetic leather substitute called Softex. Toyota has taken the interior of the new 2013 RAV 4 and gone with a a color-block concept. It takes contrasting materials and fusing them together helping to break up the monotony.
The 2013 RAV has a bit more room than previous years. Toyota has added 0.8 inches of travel at the back of the seat rail, along with an additional 0.6-inch of height adjustment that allows the driver to sit lower in the car. If you combine those two numbers with the taller seatbacks and longer seat cushions that equals a comfy pair of seats.
The technology on the new 2013 RAV 4 offers a touchscreen Display Audio system which is standard. Along with the 6.1 inch display is a backup camera. All 2013 RAV 4s will have :
- an auxiliary jack
- a USB port
- hands-free phone capability
- music streaming via Bluetooth
